What this policy covers
This policy explains how New World Support Services (NWSS) manages personal information collected through this website, enquiries, referrals and our service relationships.
Information we collect and hold
Depending on how you interact with NWSS, we may collect and hold information such as your name, contact details, organisation and role, referral information, NDIS-related service or funding information, communication records, feedback or complaint information, and information needed to provide Behaviour Support services.
Where it is necessary for Behaviour Support services, this may include sensitive information such as disability, health, behavioural or other clinical information. The public website forms are intentionally limited and should not be used to send detailed clinical records, incident reports, medication charts or Behaviour Support documents.

We may also receive information from an authorised referrer, nominee, family member, support coordinator, provider or other person involved in a participant’s supports where appropriate consent, authority or another lawful basis applies.
Why we use information
NWSS uses personal information to respond to enquiries, assess and manage referrals, establish and deliver services, communicate with participants and relevant support networks, manage feedback and complaints, maintain service and business records, and meet legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

Some technology, communication and social-media services used by NWSS may process information outside Australia. The locations can vary depending on the provider and service. If you choose to communicate with NWSS through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or WhatsApp, those platforms also handle information under their own privacy terms. Please do not send sensitive participant records through social media or WhatsApp.
